Tobacco use is the number one preventable cause of death in NC and in the nation. The Guilford County Tobacco-use Prevention Coalition (TPC) is working to help the community form healthier smokefree policies in public places, make resources available for tobacco-users to quit, and to promote tobacco-free choices for young people. 

In partnership with individuals, schools, community-based agencies, and the Guilford County Department of Public Health, the TPC is making changes that will allow Guilford County to breathe easier.
